The documents issued in Malaysia and intended to be used in China cannot be directly sent to the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia for legalization. The documents should be notarized first by a notary public in Malaysia, legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, and then submitted to the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia for legalization.
The Chinese Embassy in Malaysia does not accept the documents issued in a third country for legalization, unless they are notarized by the Embassy or Consulate-Generals of the country in Malaysia and legalized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
